ROJECT TWINSBURG TO CELEBRATE LIBRARY'S CENTENNIAL; LIBRARY SEEKS
CONTESTANTS AND PRESS COVERAGE FOR FASHION COMPETITION

(Twinsburg, January 14, 2010) Twinsburg Public Library is looking
for students, designers, and clothes makers to participate in Project
Twinsburg, a fashion competition modeled after the Lifetime hit Project
Runway. Contestants will recreate fashions from 1910-2010 in
celebration of the library's Centennial, and community judges will vote
on the best design in early May. The library will also maintain a
YouTube channel to check in with contestants on camera from January
through May. In addition to local media exposure and a feature in our
online publication, TPL Magazine, the winning designer will receive a
$100 gift card to JoAnn Fabrics.

Ps. Building a website is harder than you think. Or, maybe I'm just a dummy.... But I am determined to create Jacqulinerenee.com.

Also, I'm working on my double breasted jacket for the end of this tailoring quarter. This will be March 13, so for all of you out there wish me luck it will be a long difficult task with lots of hand sewing... YUCK!

New Semester, New attitude.

I have just finished the first week of Tailoring. After this quarter just 3 more to go. It seems soooo crazy because I feel like I just started. This quarter i have to come up with a tailored suit or Jacket. Im actually excited about this quarter although that the present time I'm dragging my feet. Im thinking I'm going to take this class as an opportunity to make some jackets and blazers that I have been needing and well lets be honest... wanting... :)
This is my jumpsuit i made for last Quarter critique. I love it and it makes me want to go jogging. :)
